Useful tips on using air fresheners

Air Freshener, widely used for refreshing air indoor and outdoor, has many different types. Some of the different types of air fresheners include sprays, candles, oils, gels, beads, and plug-ins. The most common one, of course, is the air freshener. Composed mostly of ingredients such as carcinogens and acetone some air fresheners have been known to have chemicals that provoke allergy and asthma symptoms raising argument about how safe it is to use. Air freshening is not only limited to modern day sprays; air freshening also can involve the use of organic and everyday house hold items. We can make full use of air freshener in our rooms or some other public places.

There are also some people choose to use homemade air fresheners. What we need to do is to take some of your favorite essential oils; this could be lavender, lemon oil, tea tree oil, whichever oil that you like. You could make a combination of oils. Then, you can put it in a spray bottle. That’s all for the making of homemade air fresheners. A problem for this kind of air freshener is that it can only be used permanently.

However, it is suggested that we shouldn’t use air fresheners too often, though it can help refresh the air around you efficiently. As we all know, basic ingredients in air fresheners typically include fragrances, aerosol propellants, and solvents such as mineral oil or 2-butoxyethanol and other glycol ethers. Many air fresheners employ carcinogens, volatile organic compounds and known toxins such as phthalate esters in their formulas. As a result, try to buy some air fresheners made of natural ingredients by reliable manufacturers.

Now, the air fresheners used for cars are also popular. Instead of the traditional air freshener spray, the solid wood scented car air freshener is now very popular in the market. It is supposed to be more easy-to-easy and environmental-friendly. You don’t need to spray it yourself. Just put it under your seat and it will keep your car fresh air during driving.
